methods,andkeepup-to-datewithnewpractices.Thebookincludesthefollowingparts:

•Telecommunicationlossmodels:Chapter7–11,

•Measurements:Chapter15.
Thepurposeofthebookistwofold:toservebothasahandbookandasatextbook.Thus
thereadershould,forexample,beabletostudychaptersonlossmodelswithoutstudying
thechaptersonthemathematicalbackgroundfirst.
ThehandbookisbasedonmanyyearsofexperienceinteachingthesubjectattheTech-
nicalUniversityofDenmarkandfromITUtrainingcoursesindevelopingcountriesby
