Mobile Impact Operating Instructions
Version 3.x Beta
These instructions will lay out the basic operation of Mobile Impact.
Main Menu:
This is the main menu. All modules can be accessed through this screen.
For the Audio/Video/DVD/Images/Playlist module, click on the button that displays “Media”
Click on the buttons for the corresponding modules.
When the Media button is pressed the Media Menu will show (shown below)
Click on the buttons for the corresponding modules.
Click on the Home button to return to the main menu.

Click the logo to display the exit menu.
Click the buttons to perform the corresponding operations.
The menu will appear as below when music is playing.

Settings Menu
For the Settings/Skin Selector, click on the settings button on the main menu
Change the settings for the program. Click on the desired skin directory, then click on the SAVE button,
then on the CLOSE button. If the user does not select a skin but hits the SAVE button, all settings will be
saved anyway and the program will be restarted.
Click on the Copy Organizer Data button to browse out to the location of the file. This function is for the
Organizer module, and will be detailed in the Organizer section of this document.

The Audio/Video Module
The audio/video module functions the same in both modes. When Audio is chosen from the main menu,
only audio files will appear in the file list. When Video is chosen from the main menu, only video format
files will show in the file list.
Functions are shown below:
Features:
The user can browse the directory structure using the file list. Click on the directories to open them, or
click on the file to play it. M3u files are the playlist files. If the user clicks on the M3u file, it will play. It
will show the current song playing at the top, but will not show any of the files contained inside the
playlist. To access the files inside a playlist, click on the playlist button.
If the user clicks on the Visualization window, it will go to full screen with the mini control bar. The
audio/video module will go to full screen after playing a song for 25 seconds only if it is in full screen with
mini control bar mode if nothing else on the screen is being clicked.
Click on the Shuffle button to listen to random tracks showing.
Click on Low Volume to set the volume to a low level that is made in the config.ini
Hit the Split Screen button to move the module to the other screens. To use this a 2 nd video card must
be installed with Windows XP using Windows Extended Desktop. This is the only configuration that will
enable Split Screen .

Equalizer
Click on the EQ button and the Equalizer screen will appear. If the user’s soundcard doesn’t support Bass
and Treble adjustment, then there will be no scroll bars shown in their sliders.
Full Screen with Mini Control Bar Mode
Click on the visualization to return it to regular media player mode.
