story last night.

M OK. It was a stormy night, and
a young boy was sleeping in
his bedroom. But the wind
was very strong. It blew open
his bedroom window. A cup
on the windowsill fell on the
loor, and the boy woke up.
When he sat up in bed, he

M Well, the room was dark so
he didn’t know exactly what
he saw … but it looked like a
woman. She was sitting at the
end of his bed.
A What did the boy do?
M He was scared so he stayed
very still and quiet. The
woman looked at him for
about half a minute, then she
stood up, walked over to the
window, closed it and walked
out of the room.
A Wow! What happened next?
M Nothing. But the next
morning when the boy woke
up, he found his cup on
the loor and his bedroom
window was closed. … But
that was only the irst part of
the story. I’m looking forward
to inding out what happens
next!
