Area of application
The block serves the purpose of connecting the motor protection and control
system SIMOCODE-DP 3UF5 (basic type 1, 2, 3) with communication facilities.
The block can only be used with SIMOCODE DP- 3UF5001-3AN00-1, Version
E003.
The block is designed for the default assignments of the type files of
SIMOCODE-DP 3UF5 with control function WEND (reversible starter). Parameter
assignment takes place via HWConfig (hardware configuration with SIMATIC
Manager). The control functions UELA (overload), DIRE (direct start) and STER
(star-delta startup) and other assignments are not checked by the block and may
lead to incorrect reactions.
Calling OBs
The block can be installed alternatively in the following OBs:
Cyclic task: OB1
Watchdog interrupt OB: for example OB32
The block must be installed with the same instance in following OBs:
OB82 for diagnostic interrupt recognition
OB86 for rack or line failure recognition (event comes when SIMOCODE-DP
3UF5 does not respond via PROFIBUS-DP)
OB100 for startup recognition
OB122 for I/O access error recognition
