CONTENTS OF YOUR REGISTRATION PACKAGE
=====================================

This package contains two different WhereIsIt? registration codes - a
key file for WhereIsIt? 2.xx, and license file for the latest WhereIsIt?
3.00 and newer. Older WhereIsIt? 1.xx versions are outdated and no longer
supported.

Register.txt - This file. Contains your license details and instructions
on how to register/unlock the program.
WhereIsIt.key - Key file to register WhereIsIt? version 2.xx.
*** This file is only used with WhereIsIt version 2.xx ***
License.key - License file to register WhereIsIt? 3.00 and newer.
*** This file is only used with WhereIsIt version 3.xx ***

REGISTERING WHEREISIT? VERSION 2.xx or 3.xx
===========================================

To register WhereIsIt? software, you only need to copy the enclosed license
to the same folder where program is installed. No double-clicking license
files is involved.
License file for current versions of WhereIsIt is named "License.key".
Extract this file from the registration package and place in in the same
folder where you have installed WhereIsIt, for example "C:\Program Files\
WhereIsIt". For your reference, once the license file is in place, you should
see both WhereIsIt.exe and the license in the same folder. The next time
WhereIsIt? is run, it will run as registered software.

If for any reason you need to register outdated WhereIsIt? version 2.xx,
please use the old license file "WhereIsIt.key" instead. Both license files
are included in this registration package.

Placing license file in Windows Vista
-------------------------------------

Note that Windows Vista does not allow regular users write access to system
folders like "C:\Program Files\...", where you have likely installed WhereIsIt.
This may prevent you to copy there your license file. You need to be logged
in as the administrator in order to properly place your license file. The
alternative (not recommended) is to turn off User Account Control in Windows
Vista.

USING THE "RegSetup.exe" HELPER PROGRAM (available separately)
==============================================================

While installing your license requires nothing else than copying the
appropriate license file to the folder where you have WhereIsIt installed,
you can use the RegSetup.exe helper program to do this for you.

Because of many email servers and programs are non-discriminatorily blocking
emails with attachments including executable files due to the flood of
viruses being spread this way, RegSetup.exe helper program is not included
in your registration package. If needed, it can be downloaded separately
from WhereIsIt's web site:

http://download.whereisit-soft.com/RegSetup.exe

To use the RegSetup.exe program, unpack your registration package (file
License.zip) to a temporary folder of your choice. Download and store the
RegSetup.exe program to that same folder, and start or double-click it.
The program will check your system if WhereIsIt 2.xx and/or 3.xx are
properly installed, and if so, copy the appropriate license file to the
appropriate folder where the program is installed.
When you have successfully installed your license file, you may delete
the temporary folder.

The RegSetup.exe program requires administrator privileges when running in
Windows Vista. This is necessary as installing the license likely requires
copying files to the "C:\Program Files\...", which is not writable to
regular users.

PLEASE NOTE!
The RegSetup.exe program is provided as a convenience only, and is by no
means required to successfully install your license. If you have problems,
you can always just manually copy the license file to the folder where
you have installed WhereIsIt.
