Selecting the test program
Activate test
program:
Set program selector switch to OFF position
Press and hold the two buttons closest to the dial then turn the program selector counter-clockwise to the first program
position. Keep holding the buttons until the display shows P:01
Select test
program:
Push second button from dial to scroll through tests.

-P:05 -> Variant (not currently used)

-P:07 -> Buttons and selector switch

Press START/PAUSE button

P:01 Errors
- Press Start/Pause to enter error feedback loop
- Press the second button away from the program dial to scroll through errors sequentially; error counts are displayed for
each error

Sequence: - Water fills to first level
- Heater is turned on for 30 seconds

Test: Sequence:
Reversing - Counter-clockwise drum rotation at 50rpm
- Clockwise drum rotation at 50rpm
Spinning /
Pumping:
- Spin speed increases to max. speed
- Unbalance detection is disabled
- Only catastrophic unbaXXXXX XXXXXmits are checked
- Speed reduction is not possible
P:06 Display
All LEDs and all segments of the LCD display are tested
Test program runs automatically
Sequence:
- Backlight switched off (ME99)
- Start LED and options LEDs are activated
- Pause
- Backlight switched on (ME99)
- all LCD/LED segments are activated in particular order
- Successive activation of single segments in LCD display
P:07 Buttons and selector switch
Test: Sequence:
Buttons - By pressing a button, the associated LED will light up
- By pressing the Select button, the spin sign appears in LCD display (ME99)
Selector switch - When selecting each position on the selector switch, the serially numbered positions are displayed in LCD display
(Do not rotate PS via OFF, otherwise program abort)
P:09 Pressure Switch
Sequence:
- Pump is turned on until the drum is empty
- Valve 1 is turned on until first level is reached
- Pressure is displayed
P:13 Valves
- Each valve and valve combination is tested.
- Use the START button to step through the test sequence - each push activates the next valve
- Pressure (water level) is shown in the display
- program runs automatically until level Nmax is reached or second button from program dial is pressed
P:14 Buzzer
The buzzer is activated at maximum volume.
P:15 Pump
The pump is activated and runs a maximum time of 30min unless it is stopped by pressing the second button away from the
program dial.
P:16 Heater
The heater is activated as soon as the water level reaches the heating level and is runs a maximum time of 30min unless it is
stopped by pressing the second button away from the program dial. Water temperature is displayed during the program.
The NTC can be checked during this test
