THE LITTLE GREEN GRAMMAR BOOK
M ark T redinnick is a poet, essayist and writing
teacher. He lives in Burradoo, in the highlands southwest
of Sydney. His books include The Little RedWriting Book
(published in the United States and the United Kingdom
as WritingWell: The Essential Guide ), The Land’sWild Music
and A Place on Earth . His memoir, The Blue Plateau ,
will appear in 2009. Mark is at work on a collection
of poems, a book on the consolations of reading in a
frantic age, and (with Geoff Whyte) The Little Black Book
of BusinessWriting (UNSW Press 2009).
 
But even paradise must have rules. I do not know
