Controls Defaults and Tips ************************************************************ Controls - Defaults We have supplied default bindings for keyboards and XInput devices, eg. Microsoft(TM) Xbox 360 Controller for Windows(R). For DirectInput devices, you must set up the bindings for you controller manually. This can be done in the Controls screen under the Gameplay Settings screen. To reset to default bindings, select the name of the controller shown on the Controls screen and select the Reset option. Avoid binding the same axis direction or the same button to actions like accelerate and brake. If you do, you will find it difficult to control the car. When using a joystick try binding accelerate to forward on the stick and brake as a button press. When using a wheel and pedals make sure your pedals are set to be separate axis (by default some pedals are set to combined axis). You should be able to change how the pedals are reported using the software that came with your wheel. ************************************************************ 6.
