SETTING UP YOUR HOME STUDIO
In this video, Follow your buddy, ol’ Andy Jenkins, as I transform a section
of my house from a cluttered living room into a professional home studio.
SETTING UP YOUR HOME STUDIO
Use any space in your home
spare bedroom
garage section
living room
Spouse approval factor – when done everything it put back in place
Document the area with camera, iPhone, or small video recording
Get painter’s colored tape and mark corners of furniture on floor
Remove the furniture
Setup two background kits (2 stands & 9’ bar that sits on stands)
Bar holds seamless paper $50 for 9’ wide X 36’ long
SETTING UP RIGHT WALL
Setup stands - make sure legs are WIDE enough for stability
Feed the bar through the roll of seamless paper
Place the bar on the stands (two man job)
Secure bar with thumb screws
Locate the stands on one wall
Pull down and Unroll the seamless paper
Use SPRING Clips on each side, up at top, to keep from rolling
Use heavy item on backside sitting on the paper to keep TAUT
 
SETTING UP CENTER WALL 
Repeat the process for setting up the right wall
 
SETTING UP LEFT WALL 
We will hang black Muslim for negative fill
Need to capture some of the bouncing light that will
reflect off of white Seamless paper when the room is lit.
Need to make nice real dramatic high contrast
 
THINGS TO CONSIDER 
Note: sides don’t have to meet
Two cameras angled in such a way to only see the
white seamless paper
