I made a DOS port of my OpenGL Tirtanium Demo with a modified MESA 2.2 Version for DOS and the DOS GNU DJGPP V2 compiler. Don't expect to much. This demo requires usually a 3D card. But this is a Test how slow software can be with all 3D features enabled (filtering, transparenz, Z-buffer.....). ************************************************************ Tirtanium requires - 32Bit Color VESA MODE. - 64MB memory Default resolution is 320x240. If you don't have that VESA mode change the resoution ************************************************************ Modify a *.cfg file for configuration. It uses Midas for the sound support. http://www.s2.org/midas/ Starting Tirtanium for DOS: Tirtados [*.cfg] with sound Tirtadns [*.cfg] no sound The orginal DOSMESA22 from Charlie Wallace, http://www.geocities.com/~charlie_x had only 256 color rendering with DJGPP compiler http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/. I have implemented a VESA TRUECOLOR rendering by using VESA routines from Allegro lib http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/.
