Type of activity : individual work, pair work,
Time : 45 minutes
3. Choose three boys and three girls to play this
game. Draw a grid on the board. Students task is
to choose a number and then explain the meaning
of an idiomatic expression. If they know it they
can draw a mark: O and X , Players win by getting
three of their own marks in a horizontal, vertical
or diagonal row.
Preparation:

1. Introduce the topic of the lesson. Ask students
some questions.
Forinstance:
Do people celebrate Valentine’s Day in your
country? If so, how?
How can you express love on Valentine’s Day?
Imagine a perfect Valentine’s Day.
