XP50X Driver and source code I have just completed the XP50 driver for cubase. Name: XP50X.DEV Version: 1.00 Author: John Nevill Contact : John.Nevill@btinternet.com - for more details The driver covers full expansion capabilities of the XP50 and is pre-configured for the expansion cards that I have. They are: Bass & Drum Orchestral Experience If you wish to overwrite these, then use the NAM files located at one of the Steinberg Sites. As there is some major differences between the XP50 and the JV1080 in address mapping and packet sizes, it will not work with the JV1080. Also, I have not tested it on the XP80. So be warned! The driver will enable patches, performance, rythms and system parameters to be dumped and modified. Remember, if you create your own patches and performances outside Cubase, then dump both datasets, as the performances rely upon the patches being avaliable for part information. I have also created a macro editor for patches, this enables limited TVA, TVF, EFX, Chorus and Reverb parameter adjustment on the fly. If you find any bugs please email me.
