Mordin Papercraft by Xenon Difficulty: 9/10 Height: ~46cm This is quite a difficult papercraft, so you should have experience prior to building. It is split into 3 sections, the legs, body/head and extras/armour which should ideally be built in that order. The model benefits from the smooth building method where you ignore most of the fold lines and only score the tab folds just in case. There are a few places e.g. like the frame, some folds in the hands gauntlets and fingers that will benefit from scoring- usually I'll mention these in the instructions. You must use thick paper/thin card. Printer paper will not be strong enough! Anything from 120-200gsm should be alright. Also it's a good idea to colour some of the white edges of the paper with a black pen to stop them showing. I've included a template for the Predator pistol. I made this a long time ago with Tali however it is a bit too big and doesn't go with her pose. However it looks alright with Mordin so I'm adding it as bonus content. But note it has no instructions or support. By my own admission the editing for the pistol isn't great, but it is a cool extra accessory if you want to build it too. ---- For a model of this complexity, please take a look at the PDO files. These are 3D models which list the parts and how they join together. You can open them with Pepakura Viewer downloadable free here: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ The model comes in two colour schemes, with lined/lineless PDFs supplied for both. The PDO is the alternate texture which I chose to build but this can be easily changed in Pepakura by going to: Settings > Texture Settings and selecting the location of the texture you want to load. All textures used are provided in case you want to swap or edit them.
