This pattern was an idea that came to me when designing the flat bell!! This bell is also made in one ‘round’.

Add 16 beads to Wsh2 before starting. More beads will be needed for adding to picots. The bell is worked in four sections each joining to each other as work progresses.

Repeat section 1 from *3 times (total of four sections) joining chains of next section to chains of last with a bead. Also join ring 20 to ring 9 (which is it’s opposite ring) with a bead. See fig. 2
Join the chains of section 4 to the chains on section 1 (not forgetting to join the rings at the side of the split rings).
After the final chain of 3ds T & C Wsh2. Continuing with Wsh1 only leave a small space and make a ring as follows.
R 1 + (3rd p of last R worked) 2 + (3rd p of next R) 2 + (3rd p of next R) continue until all p’s on top rings have been joined, 1. Close ring, tie and cut. See fig. 3
Take a long piece of thread and pull it through the centre of the top ring. Add a bead on either side of the top ring to prevent the thread slipping through. Add one large bead for the bell’s clapper.
