Materials Required:
2 Brown kraft paper squares:
1 x 6cm and 1 x 7cm.
A little cotton wool.
Daffodils and leaves cut from
collage sheet CS004.
Green paper 90mm x 152mm.
Black felt tipped pen.
P. V.A. Craft Adhesive and
a sticky fixer.
Card mount: SF03U Parch Blue.
To Make The Card:
Begin by folding one rabbit from the 6cm
kraft paper square following the diagrams and
instructions given below. I have used different
colours for the front and back of the paper in the
diagrams to make it easier to see which side is
which as you fold.

Fold the square in half
along the diagonal line
A-B, and unfold again.
Bring point C in to meet
the fold line A-B and press
to make a fold. Repeat
with point D to make a
kite shape.
Cut from point A to point
X along the fold line A-B.
Then fold along the line
A-B as shown.
Tu rn the paper so the line
A-B is at the top. This is
what the folded paper
should look like.

The right hand side is fold-
ed to make the rear end of
the rabbit and the left hand
side to make the head.
Begin by folding the right
hand side towards you as
shown.
Ta ke the front point at
the left hand side, fold it
towards you and up as
shown.
Turn the rabbit over and
take the remaining point
folding it towards you and
up as before.

Keeping the rabbit the
same way round fold the
same ear down as shown.
Using the black pen, draw
an eye on the same side as
the turned down ear.
Pull off a small amount of cotton wool and
form a ball, glue this onto the rabbit to make the
fluffy tail.
Using the 7cm square begin folding the sec-
ond rabbit in the same way as the first, finishing
after step three. From this point you need to
turn the rabbit over following steps 4 and 5 as
shown below.

Tu rn the paper so the line
A-B is at the top. This is
what the folded paper
should look like.
The left hand side is folded
to make the rear end of the
rabbit and the right hand
side to make the head.
Continue folding steps 6 to 8, following the
diagrams given for the first rabbit but reversing
all instructions so the rabbit will face the other
way once finished.
Run a line of glue along the lower edge of the
deeper grass and stick along the lower edge of
the card mount leaving the blades of grass free
as this looks more natural.
Position the rabbits and glue them into place
then glue the smaller grass strip in the same
way as before with the blades going in front of
the rabbits.
Step 9
In step 9, make a horizon-
talfold across the ear so
it bends down and back-
wards. Draw the eye onto
this side.
Cut the daffodils and leaves out from the
collage sheet and arrange them behind the grass.
When you are happy with their positions remove
each in turn, dab a little glue onto the base of
the stem or leaf and tuck it carefully into place
behind the grass leaving the top free.
Place a tiny piece of sticky fixer behind each
flower to hold them in place but raised away
from the card.
The grass goes both behind and in front of the
rabbits to give the design depth. Cut the 9cm
deep piece of green paper into two, making one
piece 5cm deep and the other 4cm deep.
Starting with the 5cm strip of green, snip
to give a 4cm deep grassy top. Use scissors or
a craft knife as you prefer and try to vary the
height and angle of the blades of grass.
Cut the remaining strip in the same way but
only about 3cm deep leaving a 1cm border un-
snipped as before.
