AUTHOR’S NOTE
This book is based on the Third Edition of How To Shoot Stock Photos That Sell,
published by Allworth Press. Some materials from that book have been revised
and adapted for this first edition of Digital Stock Photography . Other sections are
completely new to this title and reflect the sea of change brought about by the
complete transformation of every aspect of stock photography to the digital
mode.
Throughout this book, what has been maintained is the principle that fine
photography, shot with joy and marketed with skill, is a means of building a
