First of all you need Wine, because the program we'll be using it's a .exe

Second you need a little tool from Luigi attached (I already modified with the correct plugin to unban)

After you download it, untar it anywhere.
Then:

cd /path/to/sudppipe




Now we're ready to go:

Let's say you got IP banned from this server: 120.203.50.10:27960

You should already be in the /sudppipe directory, type this command:

wine sudppipe.exe -l plugins/q3unban_sudp.dll <server IP> <server PORT> <local port>

Where -l plugins/q3unban_sudp.dll is the plugin to unban
<server IP> is the IP of the server where you got banned
<server PORT> is the PORT of the server where you got banned
<local port> here you can put any number, we'll be using it to reconnect to the server.




For example:

wine sudppipe.exe -l plugins/q3unban_sudp.dll 120.203.50.10 27960 1337




If you did it in the correct way you should see something like this in the terminal output:


- load library plugins/q3unban_sudp.dll
- PLUGIN: q3unban plugin for sudppipe 0.1
- ready

Now let's reconnect!




Open the correct ET version (if u got banned in 2.55 DO NOT open 2.60, and viceversa, or you'll have to type the command again)
Now you're in ET, pull down the console and type:


/connect 127.0.0.1:<local port>

(Remember the <local port> you put in the terminal command? put that same port here)




For example:


/connect 127.0.0.1:1337

And now you're ready to rage the ***out of the server as much as you want, because if you get banned (again) in the same server you just need to do:
/reconnect and it will automatically unban you.

*EDIT:
If you manage to get banned by an admin while connecting, everyone in the server will get banned in the next round (even those who weren't inside the server) this is only possible in ETPub mod, because everyone while connecting has a blank IP in userinfo (\ip\\smiley while a normal IP would be (\ip\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\smiley, and as the admin banned that blank IP no one can connect.

This does NOT work with Subnet bans.
