1. Resetting Camera
Instructions for initializing the factory set camera are given.
1. Turn on the Camera
2. Power off the camera by pressing the
wide button and the down button.
3. Turn on the camera and check whether
the camera is reset or not.

2. Checking the Version
Instructions for checking the current firmware version of the camera are given.
1. Connect the fully charged battery.
2. Turn the camera off if it is on.
3. Power on the camera by pressing the
shutter button and the down button.

3. Upgrading the Firmware
Firmware execution
The firmware is comprised of the following structure.
The execution codes which operate the camera are in the code area. Various resources, required
for operating the camera, are saved in the partition [1:3] area. The defective pixel adjustment data
and the lens shading adjustment data are saved in partition 3.
The setting values, which are set in the menu when using the camera, are saved in the user area
where the adjustment data from the integrated process is saved.

▷Generic version :
- This version is used for updating the Code + Partition [1:2] area. The adjustment data saved in the user
area and partition 3 is protected.
1. Insert the SD card where the firmware data file and upgrade script file are saved, into the camera.
* Two files, namely the firmware data file and the upgrade script file are required for the firmware
upgrade.
* All the data saved in the flash memory must be backed up prior to the firmware upgrade, or it will be
lost.
2. Connect the AC adapter or a fully charged battery.
* To upgrade the firmware, the battery level indicator on the LCD monitor must be full (level three).

3. Turn the camera off if it is on.
4. The firmware version for the upgrade
will be displayed on the LCD display.
When pressing the shutter button, the
upgrade starts.
5. The status of the firmware upgrade is
displayed on the LCD display during the
firmware upgrade.
6. After completing the upgrade, the camera is turned off automatically.
