Corrective action / activity for QN 62268
Root Cause Description:
1. For dirt under foil - not enough cleaning after preparing rework (holes drilling).
2. For NOK folded material – material has pulled out during transportation in skid (before welding) and poor later inspection.
3. For gap insert against doorpanel – very specific behavior of LAM material
4. For glossy line in vinyl – looks like coming from transportation rack (we will observe)
5. For marks in foil – wrong handling
6. For wrong folded foil – wrong clean cutting operation
7. For line in foil – the most probably scratch from nest (we will observe)
8. For hitmark on edge – wrong clean cutting operation (cut with knife by operator)
9. For line in foil (pressmark) – the possible place will be analised by DPL
10. For NOK folded textile against main carrier – flat pin rolled up
11. For welding NOK on speaker grille – dirty heater due to high components dimention variation
12. For bad welding SIPS – dirty heater due to high components dimention variation
13. For broken plastic peg on bezel – this is first such case. If in Teresin, during assembling switch bezel / grab handle.
14. For splice in foam – we were not aware that this is wrong
15. For glossy marks (on 1127689) – dispiute. Element with the glue applied in Tanum and dirty lines looks exactly like coming from glue applying process.
Root Cause Verification Description:
Brain storm for complaints team (quality, engineering and production)
Escape Point Description:
1. For dirt under foil – rework station
2. For NOK folded material – welding station
3. For gap insert against doorpanel – EOL
5. For marks in foil – EOL
6. For wrong folded foil – Clean cutting station
7. For line in foil – EOL?
8. For hitmark on edge –clean cutting station
9. For line in foil (pressmark) – EOL?
10. For NOK folded textile against main carrier – assembly station
11. For welding NOK on speaker grille – EOL
12. For bad welding SIPS – EOL
13. For broken plastic peg on bezel –If in Teresin, switch bezel / grab handle assembly station
14. For splice in foam – punching
Permanent Corrective Action Description:
1. For dirt under foil – briefing for rework operators and focusing quality gate after the vacuum lamination on the problem
2. For NOK folded material – briefing for relevant operators and inspectors. Updating of inspection instruction on welding station
3. For gap insert against door panel – problem raised to central engineering as a open issue. Looking for another production way possibility (by Teresin Eng.). Establishing temporary acceptance criteria by QA.
4. For glossy line in vinyl – observing the situation (we don’t catch this defect type internally)
5. For marks in foil – continous improvement of station protection by specialist
6. For wrong folded foil – briefing for clean cutting operators
7. For line in foil – observation if catching the next example will be possible
8. For hitmark on edge – briefing for clean cutting operators
9. For line in foil (pressmark) – will be analised by DPL
10. For NOK folded textile against main carrier – briefing for assembly operators, welding machine drivers and inspectors
11. For welding NOK on speaker grille – standardized a heater clean process and improve EOL detection
12. For bad welding SIPS – standardized a heater clean process and improve EOL detection
13. For broken plastic peg on bezel – briefing for switch bezel / grab handle assembly operators
14. For splice in foam – briefing for punch machine operators.
