TURTLE
Print out the turtle graphic on regular printer paper and cut out the
pattern. Don’t use paper that is too thick; it will be hard to fold.
Use the dotted lines on the graphic and the instructions to help
guide you with the folds.
This pattern requires scissors,
please ask your parent for help.
1. The graphic side should be facing down. Fold
the turtle pattern in half (as shown) so that
the fold runs along the dotted line on the graphic side.
2. The side of the triangle that does not display
the turtle's eyes should be facing you. Fold in half
(along the dotted line in the above image) and unfold.
3. Using the dotted lines on the graphic
as a guide, fold the left and right corners
to the center.
4. Fold the right and left top layer
corners upwards to meet at the top corner.
5. Fold the left and right corners on the top layer
(as shown) outwards.
6. Cut the top layer along
the red dotted lines.
7. Fold the bottom right and left corners
outwards like in step 5.
8. Fold the outer right and left corners
inwards so that they meet in the middle.

9. Fold down the top triangle
to create the head.
10. Fold the turtle’s head upward.
11. Fold the bottom triangle to create the tail.
12. Fold the tail down.
13. Using the dotted line (shown above) as a guide,
fold the entire turtle in half and unfold.
14. Turn the turtle over so that
it can stand on its feet.
Your turtle is finished!
