Dear Susan,
Winter started last week and all the family are already ill! Jane, my eldest sister, was the first.

we wouldnÓt catch it because we had already had it at TimÓs age. The doctor gave him some
12ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. for the rash which looks like a cream but smells like old socks! The spots
he has all over his body 13ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. him but mom says he shouldnÓt scratch because it
may leave ugly ÈÈÈÈÈÈ..for ever.
Dad is another story. He went to some very important party in his company with very
expensive exotic food. As a result he has a very expensive exotic 14ÈÈÈÈÈÈ..! He was
vomiting all night and today he is visiting toilet every 10 minutes. Mom says he has
16ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. but he keeps telling that he just likes reading on the toilet. Jill slipped on
the icy street and 17ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. her ankle. It is not 18ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. so it is not in
plaster but it hurts her a lot and she must rest and avoid walking. Grandma has had a
19ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. cancer for the last few months caused by heavy smoking. She had to have
a 20ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. last Monday and the doctors cut it out. We were all sitting in the
21ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. room keeping our fingers crossed. Now she is getting better and sheÓll be
home for Christmas. We will also have a new puppy for Christmas too because our old Sara,
who was deaf and blind, had a heart 22ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. and when we took her to the vet he
gave her a lethal 23ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. to finish her suffering. I couldnÓt watch it and went out
when I saw the doctor with a 24ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. and a needle on it. But the dog didnÓt feel a
thing she just fell asleep and the doctor was very gentle with her and all the family. All in all I
think that public health 25ÈÈÈÈÈÈ.. in this country is much better for animals than for
people!
Anyway thatÓs all my news for now. I hope all the family are well soon and you can visit us
next month.
